Nach langer, langer Überlegung, gefühlten Stunden in Parfümerien und noch mehr davon vor dem Laptop habe ich mich endlich für einen Foundationpinsel entschieden. Lange habe ich den Stiplingpinsel von MAC favorisiert, dann wollte ich doch lieber den von Real Techniques und letztenendes bin ich bei Shiseido gelandet, weil ich mich daran erinnert habe, wie sehr ich doch damals von ihm begeistert war als er mir vorgestellt wurde. An diesem Punkt muss ich zugeben, eine bessere Entscheidung häte ich nicht treffen können! Er ist zwar klein, dafür sind die Haare (super weich!) eng gebunden und es gibt so einige davon somit erhält man ein schönes ebenmäßig Finish. Es dauert zwar etwas bis das ganze Gesicht eingepinselt wurde, aber das Ergebnis ist wirklich, wirklich mehr als beeindruckend.

After a huge amount thoughts an feeled hours spend in stores and even more in front of the laptop I have finally bought a new foundation brush. The small stipling brush by MAC was my favourite for a long time, afterwards I thought about the one by real techniques to in the end get the one by Shiseido, because I remembered how amazed I was when it got intruduced to me in the first place. At this moment, I have to admit that I couldn't have made a better choice! The brush is actually quite small but the hair (so soft!) is bonded very tight and there is a lot of those so you can get an amazing harmonious finish. It takes its time to finish the whole face but the result is really, really more than impressive.

one year without...

Ich schminke mich seit ich 13 bin und regelmäßig seit ich 16 bin, genau damals habe ich auch angefangen ab und zu neben der Schule in einer Parfümerie zu arbeiten. Schnell entfachte ich eine große, OK seien wir erlich, eher eine monströse Leidenschaft für Schminke! Ich bettelte meine Chefn und unsere damalige Visagistin an einen Kurs belegen zu dürfen, was ich auch nach ein paar Monaten wimperklimpern und Kuchen vom Bäcker machen durfte. Der Kurs ging 2 Wochen lang und war mehr als interessant, aber vorallem hilfreich. Seitdem befasse ich mich viel mit Schminke und behaupte mal einfach so gut wie alles darüber zu wissen. Irgendwann avancierte ich auch vom Packmädel zur Aushilfsvisagistin und werde vorallem für die Weihnachtszeit oder besondere Events zurück geholt und das macht mir immer wieder große Freude. Meine Freunde und Familie profitieren davon aber auch immer mehr! Gerne und oft biete ich ihnen meine Leistungen an und bis jetzt, ich klopfe auf's Holz, noch NIE ein negatives Feedback. Ob ich es irgendwann mal professionell ausüben möchte ist fraglich, da ich den Berufseinstieg mehr als schwierig finde, aber man soll ja bekanntlich niemals nie sagen.

Nun aber zum Kern dieses Posts:
Mit den Jahren hat sich so einiges angesammelt! Ein paar der Sachen habe ich geschenkt bekommen, den größten Teil habe ich mir jedoch selbst besorgt und um erlich zu sein, will ich gar nicht wissen WIE VIEL an Geld in meiner Schublade liegt! Jede neue Kollektion wurde genaustens studiert und die Must-Haves besorgt (zugegeben waren mir meine Kolleginnen eine große Hilfe hierbei!) sobald etwas Neues rauskam sofort bestellt und ja, auch vor dem vierten roten oder sechsten pinken Lippenstift nicht zurückgeschreckt. Kurz vor Silvester msste ich zu Muji um noch ein paar weiter Element zu besorgen, damit auch ja alles ordnungsgemäß präsentiert wird. Das Endergebnis (nachdem alle Taschen nach Lippenstiften durforstet wurden) war nicht nur für mich mehr als schokierend, sondern auch für meinen besten Freund. Er war für knappe 10 Sekunden komplett erstarrt und bekam nur ein mageres 'O mein Gott' raus. Natürlcih war ich eine solche Reaktion von weiblichen Betrachtern gewohnt, aber irgendwie gab mir seine Reaktion gepaart mit dem neuen Anblick zu denken übrig. Mir wurde bewusst, dass ich eine Linie ziehen muss unzwar ASAP und natürlich sollte es keine Diet werden, sondern ein kompletter Verzicht FÜR EIN JAHR LANG! Glaubt mir, ich weiß wirklich nicht was mich da geritten hat und ja, ich werde dafür belächtelt und, nein keiner kauft mir es ab. Natürlich werde ich meine Mascara, meinen Concealer, mein Make-up und mein Puder nachkaufen, aber keine Eksursionen nur das Altbewährte.
Und ja, ich habe schon erste Entzugserscheinungen...

I'm using Make-Up since I'm 13 and since my 16th birthday on a regular base and that also whe I started wor sometimes in perfume store besides school. I got fascinated pretty fast by Make-up and this love has grown since then non-stop! I begged my boss and our make-up artist to allow me to do a course so I could learn it on a professional base which they allowed after some months and after some delicious cakes from the bakery. The course went for 2 weeks and was more than interesting but above all I learned tons of helpful hints and tricks. Since then I am all about make-up and inform myself regularly about everything an I would even say that I know nearly everything about it. After two years I turned from the little girl who wrapped gifts during holiday to the girl who helps out and does the make-up during holiday season and at some events. My friends and family do profit from my skills as well and since today, i'm knocking on the woodden table, i never ever got a negative feedback. I would negotiate that I'm ever going to do it professionally because in my opinion it's pretty hard to get a fulltime and wellpaid job in this buisness but like they say: never say never!

But now let's turn to the main point in this post:
Over the years I've collectes tons of stuff! There are some products which I got as a gift but most it I have bought by myself and to be honest with you I sincearly don't want to know how much money is lying in my drawer! Every new collection had to be studied so I could buy the must-haves (of course my work-buddys have been a huge help for that) and as soon as something was reliesed I found myself ordering it and yes there was stopping even for the fourth red or the sixth pink lipstick.
Before christmas I went to Muji to get some more storage-element so everything was represented the way it should be. The result (after all of my bags have been combed through searching for lipsticks) was not only for me more than shoking but above all for my best friend. He freezed for almost ten seconds and to say a simple 'Oh my god' afterwards. Of course, I was used to this kind of reaction by all of my girl friends but in someway his reaction had made me to think about this mass of tons of prodcts which were presented in this drawer. It was clear to me that I had do draw a line note in future rather ASAP and of course it shouldn't be a diet it has to be a complete abandonment FOR ONE WHOLE YEAR! Trust me, O seripusly don't what happened to me and yes, everybody starts laughing at me as soon as I tell them and no, no one belives in me. Of course I'm going to buy my mascara, cocealer, foundation and powder again, but nothing new just my old beloved classics.


And yes, I have already some withdrawal symptoms...

CHANEL spring 2013 makeup

 Als ich die ersten Fotos der Chanel Frühlings Make-Up Kollektion sah, musste ich Fotos zusammen suchen, um sie euch zu zeigen. Weil ich mich Moment auf die Uni konzentriere, konnte ich mir die Kollektion noch nicht vorab anschauen, um euch meine Meinung zu sagen, deßhalb muss ich jetzt wohl anhand der Fotos urteilen.

When I saw the first pictures of the upcoming Chanel spring makeup collection I had to search the internet so I could share it with you. Because I'm focusing on Uni at the moment I wasn't able to take a sneak peak so I'm not able to give you already my personal opinion and I can just judge by the photos.

 

Wie erwartet dominieren Rosa und Koralle, also nichts neues. Diesmal gibt es leider keine Rouge Cocos, was ich besonders enttäuschend finde, weil sie meine absoluten Lieblinge sind. Mir gefällt vorallem die Farbe auf dem Werbefoto, aber es handelt siech dabei um den Rouge Allure Velvet L'Éclantante, den ich mir auf jeden Fall ansehen werde, aber sicherlich nicht mitnehmen werde, da ich mich mit der Allure Velvet Reihe einfach nicht anfreunden kann. Die Nagellacke sind zwar schön, aber einfach nicht zu überzeugend, außerdem habe ich eh keinen Platz mehr für Chanel Nagellacke. Alles in einem Haut mich diese Kollektion nicht wirklich um! Es ist alles irgendwie einfach schon alles mal da gewesen. Ich hätte mir gerne mal was neues gewünscht (ich erinnere mich an Nagellacke wie Riva oder Mimosa). Vielleicht mal ein knallender, heller roter Lippenstift?

As expected there's a lot of rosé and coral, so nothing really suprisingly. This time there are no new Rouge Cocos offered, which is dissapointing, because they are my favourites. I really do like the lipcolour on the ad, the Rouge Allure Velvet L'Éclantante, but I'm not quite a Allure Velvet fan, so I'm probably going to take look at tis one but not more. The nailpolishes are cute, but that's it. They simply don't convince me and I anyway don't have space left for more Chanel nailpolishes. 

All in all I'm not really satisfied with this collection! Everthing has been simply seen already at some point. I would've wished for something new (thinking of nailpolishes like Riva or Mimosa). Maybe something like a bright red lipstick?

CHANEL autmn make-up look 2012

Jeder der mich kennt weiß, dass ich meine Finger schon seit Jahren nicht still halten kann, wenn es um die Looks von Chanel geht. Irgendetwas muss immer mit! Ich durfte mir gestern die Kollektion schonmal vorab live ansehen und ganze 5 (!) Produkte landeten auf meiner Liste. Aber ich versuche zu sparen... also habe ich mir nur drei reserviert. Die Nagellacke Frenzy und Vertigo und der Stylo Waterproof in Silver. Die Lippenstifte fand ich Anfangs total anziehend, sind aber für meinen Typen zu braunstichig und ich sah leicht krank aus (was ich übrigens bin! Ich hab sei 4 Tagen erhöhte Temperatur und bei der Hitze ist echt eine Qual). Wenn ich die Produkte endlich hab, gibt es einen ausführlichen Bericht.

Everyone who knows me is also aware of that I can't change it but always get exexcited about the new looks of Chanel. I always have to buy something! Yesterday I was lucky to get a sneak peak and saw the this years collection and I picked upt 5 (!) pieces I wanted to buy. But I have to save money... so I only ordered three products.The nailpolishes in Frenzy and Vertigo and the Stylo Waterproof in silver. I felt attracted by the lipstick in the beginning but trying them on I realized that they are a bit two brown for me and I looked kind of sick (which I am by the way! I have high fever since 4 days and compared with the head it's nearly killing me). As soon as I own my boughts I will show them to you.

minimize it

In weniger als drei Wochen geht es für mich nach Florida und seien wir ehrlich, wer würde dort schopping-technisch ausrasten. Um mir keine großen Gedanken um Übergepäck machen zu müssen, versuche ich mich jetzt schon wirklich auf das absolute Minimum zu beschränken. Am Wochenende habe ich schon mal mein Make-up rausgesucht und bin sogar relativ stolz auf mich!

In less than three weeks I'm heading to Florida for some rest and let's be honest who wouldn't freak out, thinking about the shopping-possibilities in the US. I don't wanna care about overweight so I already plan to minimize the stuff I'm going to tak ewith me. This weekend I've already chosen my make up :)

Helena, is it too much?

Hier hab ich euch schon die neue Helena Rubinstein Mascara vorgestellt, die seitdem eifrig benutzt wird. Den Unterschied zu meiner Chanel Mascara ist deutlich sichtbar, da die Wimpern viel, viel länger wirken und mehr Farbe abgegeben wird. Vor ein paar Tagen wurde ich dann von einer Kollegin gefragt wo ich denn meine Wimpern verlängern lasse! Ich will schon lange und volle Wimpern haben, aber keine die künstlich wirken. Jetzt ist ersmal wieder Hypnose von Lancome mein aktueller Begleiter....

I have already introduced to you here the new Helena Rubinstein mascara which I have used regularly since then. I have definitely noticed a difference compared to my Chanel one because my lashes are now a lot more longer and thicker. A couple day ago I was asked at work where I'm doing my lash extension! I really want to have long and full lashes but I don't want them to look fake. Now I'm using currently again Hypnose by Lancome...

make up for a weekend get-away

Nächstes Wochenende geht es nach Düsseldorf für mich. Normalerweise bin ich eine totale Überpackerin, wenn es sich um Make-Up handelt, aber dieses mal muss ich mich zurück halten! Das wird der komplette Equipment sein, VERSPROCHEN!

Next weekend I'm going to Düsseldorf with a friend of mine. Normally I'm a total overpacker if it comes to make-up but honestly this time I should give up this bad habit! This all I'm taking with me, I PROMISE!

Dank meines Jobs hatte ich diese Woche die Möglichkeit einen Blick auf die kommenden Herbst Make-Up Kollektionen von Chanel und Dior zu werfen.

Thanks to my job, I was allowed to take a sneak peek on the upcoming fall make-up collections of Dior and Chanel.

DIOR:

Über diese Kollektion haben schon zahlreiche Blogs geschrieben, deßhalb nur kurz meine Eindrücke. Sie ist sehr, sehr blau (definitiv nicht meine Farbe) bezogen auf Augen und Nägel und Nude/Beige für die Lippen. Das Einzige was mein Interesse weckte waren die Lidschatten-Trios (die ins Standart Sortiment übergehen werden und die Duos ersetzen werden) doch diese stellten sich als schlecht pigmentiert und nicht decken heraus. Auch wenn meine Chefin diese Kollektion vergöttert, werde ich wahrscheinlich nichts meins nennen. Die Lippenstifte sind qualitativ gut, jedoch nichts besonderes.

BTW Im September kommt ein neues J'adore EdT Parfüm raus, welches dermaßen gut riecht!

This collection was already shown at a lot of blogs, so I'm just gonna tell you quick my impressions. It's very, very blue (definitely not my colour) for eyes and nails and a lot of nude for lips. The only thing which seemed interesting were the 3 ombres eyeshadows (which are going to be permanent, replacing the duos) but they turned out to be not that much opaque as I wanted them to be. Even if my boss is falling for this collection, I don't think I'm gonna buy anything. Only the stuff for lips are kind of my style but nothing special.

BTW There's an new J'adore EdT perfume coming out soon, which is incredible!

CHANEL:

Mit 'Graphite' war es Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Außerdem wird wahrscheinlich einer der Lipglosse ebenfalls zu mir wandern. Die Illusion d'ombres sind etwas kompliziert. Die Textur ist sehr interessant, aber es ist etwas schwierig sie mit dem Pinsel aufzutragen, also müssen die Finger her, jedoch bin ich keine großer Fan von Fingerarbeit. Ich werde erst ein paar mal auf der Arbeit mit ihnen arbeiten bevor ich mich entscheide.

With 'Graphite' was it love on the first sight! And one lipgloss is probably going to mine as well. The Illusion d'ombres are kinda tricky. The texture is very interesting but it's hard to work with a brush so you need to use your fingers but I don't like to work with my fingers. So I'll probably try out a few times at work to work with them and afterwards I'll choose, if I'm going too buy one of them.

HIGHLIGHT!

Ihr könnt anfangen Geld in euren Spaarschweinen zu sammeln, denn diese Liesbling kommen diesen Herbst in die Läden! Rouge Allure Velvet ist ein matter Lippenstift, der sich trotzdem cremig auf den Lippen anfühlt und stundenlang hält! (Vertraut mit, ich hab ihn schon ausprobiert) Die Farben sind der Hammer und reichen von hell bis dunkel, von peachigen bis braunen Tönen. (Erscheinen wird er mit drei neuen permanenten Nagellacken!)

Rouge Allure Velvet is an matte lipstick, which still feells very creamy on your lips and lasts for hours! (Trust me, I've already tried it out) The colours are all amazing, the range goes from light to dark, from peachy to brown colours. (Coming out with three new permanent nailpolishes!)

oh mascara, oh mascara

Ich bin schon seit langer, langer Zeit auf der Suche nach der perfekten Mascara! Eigentlich dachte ich sie mit der Inimitable von Chanel, die ich übrigens benutze seit ich 15 bin, gefunden zu haben, allerdings bin ich mit der Letzten die gekauft habe alles andere als zufrieden. Ich bekomme auf biegen und brechen nicht das gleiche Ergebnis wie früher und da macht mich traurig. Ich hab die von Shiseido versucht und war anfangs auch ganz zufrieden, mit der Zeit trennt sie jedoch die Wimpern nicht mehr so gut. Von der Mascara von Clinique sollte ich erst gar nicht anfangen zu reden! Sie schmiert nur das Produkt auf die Wimpern! Keine Trennung, Volumen oder sonstiges! Die einzige, die ich im Moment überhaupt mag ist die Mascara von Catrice, obwohl auch diese mittlerweile trocken ist, bröselt und man sich wirklich anstrengen muss, um sie abzumachen.

Also habe ich mir eine neue Aufgabe gestellt: eine neue Mascara zu finden!

Auf meiner Liste sind: 'Lancome' Hypnose, 'Helena Rubinstein' Lash Queen und 'Dior' Diorshow.

I'm searching for the perfect mascara since a long, long, time! Actually I thought I've found it the Chanel Inimitable, which I'm using since I'm 15 but with my last purchase I'm not satisfied at all. I don't get the result as I used to get and this makes me upset. I tried the Shiseido one and I was at first pretty happy but now the brush isn't seperating my lashes. And I shouldn't start to talk about the one from Clinique! It just puts the product on your lashes! No seperation, volume or anything! The only one I like right now is the one from Catrice. But time after time it gets to dry and it's so hard to wipe it off.

So I set up a new Challenge for myself: find a new mascara!

On my list are: 'Lancome' Hypnose, 'Helena Rubinstein' Lash Queen and 'Dior' Diorshow.

Erlich gesagt, für mich persönlich ist das eine Kollektion mit Höhen und Tiefen! Ich habe mich total in die Nagellacke 'beige pétale' und 'morning rose' verliebt. Aber was ist das denn mit 'mimosa'?? Ein gelber Nagellack ist wirklich nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Das Gleich auch mit den Lipglossen. Sehr schön finde ich 'aurore' und 'pink peony'. Aber ich denke nicht das ich 'pensèe' meins nennen werde. Es sieht mehr nach henna gemischt mit schimmer aus. Die Lidschatten sehen ganz nett aus, bis auf den hellgrünen in den 'les 4 ombres'. Ich denke, ich werde mir die Nagellacke und die Lipglosse näher ansehen, mehr wird aber sicherlich nicht hinzu kommen!

Honestly, for me personally this is a collection with ups and downs! I'm totally in love with the nailpolishes 'beige pétale' and 'morning rose'! But what is it about 'mimosa'? A yellow nailpolish isn't something I would wear! The same thing with the lipglosses. I'm falling for 'aurore' and 'pink peony'. But I don't think 'pensèe' is going to be mine! For me, it looks like henna mixed with shimmer. The eyeshadows are quiet nice, accept for the bright green at the 'les 4 ombres'. I think I will take a look at the nailpolishes and the lipglosses but it's defently not going to be more!

Christmas make-up

Fröhliche Weihnachten an alle meine Leser! Ich koche und backe für das heutige Weihnachtsessen, deßhalb wollte ich euch meine Weihnachts Make-up zeigen. Viel Schimmer! Außerdem wollte ich euch etwas zeigen, was ich mir vor einigen Wochen gekauft habe: Gebackener Lidschatten von Manhattan. Ich liebe die Farben wirklich! Die braunen Farben sind perfekt für den Tag, während die grauen Farben eher was für den Abend sind. Also falls ihr die Möglichkeit habt, würde ich sie mir kaufen!

Also I wanted to show you something I bought a few weeks ago: baked eyeshadow by Manhattan. I really do love the colours. The brown colours are perfect for the day and the grey colours for the night. So if you have the opportunity: go and get them!

Ich habe versucht ein AMU zu schminken, welches gleichermaßen natürlich als auch glamourös ist. Also habe ich bruan und beige Töne mit Schimmerpartikeln verwendet und das ganze mit einer feinen Linie von Eyeliner veredelt.

I tried to create a pretty natural eye make-up but at the same time to be glamorous. So I used brown and beige colour with a bit of glitter and to finish it a thin line of eyeliner.

Ich wollte schon immer mal die "Juicy Tubes" von Lancomé probieren, aber als ich heute diese Farbe sah, könnte ich nicht wiederstehen. Es ist der "superbalm moisturizing gloss" von Clinique und ich bin einfach begeistert. Er ist sehr angenehm zu tragen, da er weder verklebt noch einen zu starken Geschmack hat.

I always wanted to try the "Juicy Tubes" from Lancomé but when I saw this colour today, I couldn't resist! It's the "superbalm moisturizing gloss" from Clinique and I simply love it! It's very comfortable to wear it, because it doesn't glue or have a too strong flavour.
